Face Forward Intelligence Report Release #5

The fifth Face Forward Intelligence Report reflects another month of growth, with comments analysed growing from 425,483 to 523,679 comments, and those removed from 185,554 to 219,814.

Over the last five months, 1,370,545 comments have been analysed and 594,438 harmful comments have been auto-removed. That’s 43.4% of all comments over the five months being harmful!

In September, an estimated 3,664 hours of staff time was saved over the month, the equivalent of over 22.9 full-time employees.

Facebook continues to drive the most harmful content, with 89% of all comments and 93% of all abusive content.

Identity-based abuse continues, with sexist content remaining the largest category, followed by racist, xenophobic, transphobic, and ableist content.
