The sixth Face Forward Intelligence Report reflects another steady month, with 379,406 comments analysed and 174,638 of them hidden.
In October, an estimated 2,911 hours of staff time was saved over the month, the equivalent of over 18.2 full-time employees.
Facebook continues to drive the most harmful content, with 90% of all comments and 93% of all abusive content.
Since June, more than half of all comments participants receive have been negative, and nearly half have been abusive. The hostility is sustained, not driven by a single event, which is why protection needs to be ongoing.
